How do I become a member?
You can become a member of the Mt. Zion Family through the following ways:
Profession of faith- this refers to a person who already has a or who would like to professed a saving faith in Jesus Christ and desires to become a part of Mt. Zion AME Church. At any time during the worship service or an event individuals can make their desire known to the pastor or minister present, after which you will be instructed on your next’s steps.
Affiliated Member-this refers to a person who is already a members of a church but are residing outside of the vicinity of their home church and desire to affiliate with Mt. Zion because it is closer to their current residence.
Transferred Member- this refers to persons who already maintains membership from another Methodist church and desire to transfer their membership to Mt. Zion.
